At 8:35 am, Saturday, 7/4/15, ELTPD responded to a report of a burglary that just occurred at a residence in the 2100 blk of Lyndell Drive.   Arriving Patrol Officers spoke to the owner of the residence who reported that he was awakened by thumping noises.   At this time his bedroom door was opened by an unknown Black or dark skin Hispanic male. The male subject explained that he had the wrong house and was escorted out of the residence by the home owner before police were called.  The male was not wearing a shirt and had a lot of tattoos on his upper body.   The male was further described as being in his mid 20's with a thin build and short black hair, wearing black shorts and was possibly intoxicated.  The male suspect was not located by Police.  Forced entry was found to the rear of the residence.   Nothing in the residence was discovered missing or tampered with.   Anyone with information is asked to submit a tip or contact East Lampeter Twp Police at (717) 291-4676.
