At 8:35 pm, Friday. 10/2/15, East Lampeter Twp Police patrol officers responded to an armed robbery that just occurred at the Dollar General Store, 1649 Lincoln Highway East.   It was reported to arriving officers that a Black male approximately 30 years of age, 6-00 to 6-03 in height, 250 pounds, with a bandana covering his face and wearing black puffy coat with a fur lined hood up, came into the store displaying a handgun.  The male approached employees at the register, then demanded money and cigarettes.  After receiving an undetermined amount of money and cigarettes the male fled on foot.   The employees were not injured.  Anyone with information is asked to submit a tip or contact ELTPD detective Preston Gentzler at (717) 291-4676.
