Good News!

The East Lampeter Township Police Department celebrated some of our own last night at the Township Supervisor meeting:  a commendation and a new hire!

Officer Chad Snader and Officer Blake Wahlberg received the Lifesaving Award and Commendation for an incident which occurred on December 14, 2021 in which a male subject had attempted to hang himself.  The Officers immediately lifted up the individual to relieve the pressure and once down, performed CPR saving the individual's life.  Their quick response and performance of their duty is of the highest calling in Law Enforcement.  These Officers are both great examples of the East Lampeter Township Police Department and take pride in doing their best to serve our community.

Officer Nicholas Zollner was sworn in as the newest member of our agency.  Officer Zollner is a graduate of Conestoga Valley High School and Millersville University.  Officer Zollner is excited to serve in the community that he grew up in and we are happy to have him on our team!

Congratulations to each of our Officers!
