On 12/2/15, an attempted daylight burglary was reported to ELTPD.   The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 pm, Saturday, 11/28/15, at a residence in the 2600 blk of Stumptown Rd.   An unknown White male knocked on the front door, then attempted to open the door, which was locked.  The male then went to an unlocked window and opened it.   As the male was attempting to enter the residence through the window he was confronted by the resident.   The male suspect fled on foot to the roadway where he was picked by a red car.    The residence is adjacent to an Amish farm, and the incident is similar to the recent spree of Amish farm house burglaries.  Anyone with information is asked to submit a tip or contact East Lampeter Twp Police at (717) 291-4676.
