NLCRPD was monitoring traffic from the parking lot of 6279 Main St. in E. Petersburg, when I a Burgundy Ford Freestyle heading North on Main St with vehicle registration expired with and active arrest warrant for the owner of the vehicle. The registered owner later identified and confirmed by the NLCRPD patrol officer to be KATARIA PAGAN-ALECIA, age 33 of South 8th Street, Reading, PA had an Active NCIC warrant for her arrest. The arrest warrant was a fugitive warrant for Simple Assault. Subject was taken into custody and transported to the NLCRPD departmental headquarters for holding until a Deputy Sheriff from Berks County arrived and took custody of the subject for transfer to Berks County for further legal process. All portions of the NLCRPD contact with the subject were captured by video BWC/MVR/CC technology in accordance with NLCRPD departmental directives.
