NLCRPD responded to 564 W Lexington Road at approximately 1600 hours about an active warrant issued for Donald Showers, age 24, of that address. Warrant was confirmed through automated sources as active within the NLCIC/CLEAN system. On arrival NLCRPD patrols contacted Donald, who exited the residence to speak with police as they entered the driveway. NLCRPD patrols informed Donald of the active warrant and requested LCWC contact the Lancaster County Sheriff's Department to inform them Donald was detained to take custody of him. Lancaster County Sheriff's again confirmed the warrant, and it was arranged to meet NLCRPD at NLCRPD HQ. The sheriff's department later arrived at station and custody of Donald was exchanged along with his property.
