NLCRPD responded for a domestic in progress in the 5000 block of Main Street between mother and son.  The son, later identified as Derek WEACHTER, fled the scene prior to police arrival. It was discovered that WEACHTER was also a wanted person. Officers located WEACHTER walking in the area. WEACHTER attempted to flee and resisted arrest but was subsequently apprehended and later released to the custody of the Lancaster Co. Sheriff’s Department. During the arrest WEACHTER was found in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges pending.
