On Friday, June 17, 2022, @ 10:37 PM NLCRPD Officers were called to a home in the 6000 Block of Jeanette Drive in East Petersburg for the report of an adult male making active threats against family members. On arrival, Police encountered Fletcher MORTON Jr. of East Petersburg on an exterior porch of the home.  MORTON Jr. had several outstanding warrants for his person. MORTON Jr. was confrontational, argumentative, and verbally combative with both family members and the police. When MORTON repeatedly refused to comply with Officer’s instructions, Officers were forced to deploy a TASER to control and apprehend MORTON Jr.. MORTON Jr. received medical attention and was later transported to NLCRPD for processing on charges associated with resisting arrest and the outstanding warrants. MORTON was remanded to the Lancaster County Prison pending a preliminary hearing.
