The NLCRPD is providing an advance traffic advisory in anticipation of heavy congestion with both vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the vicinity of the Lancaster Airport near the Warwick Township municipal boundary with Manheim Township. This increase in traffic flow, pedestrian crossing and parking related concerns are associated with a presidential visit to the airport.

Traffic flow and impacts associated with volume can be anticipated in this vicinity between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. This time frame is provided with time span buffering as a general frame of reference for motorists who are encouraged to avoid the area if possible, during this period. The NLCRPD and the Manheim Township Police Departments are working together to coordinate a traffic management program.
