On September 29, 2021 @ 12 Noon NLCRPD was called to the Dollar General Store located in the 300 block of Main Street in Penn Township for the report of a theft not in progress. Store management had discovered that a large amount of money had been missing. It was discovered that an employee, Cameron LAYSER of Manheim, PA, had been transferring funds from the store to a personally owned prepay access card since August of 2021.  Total funds stolen was reported to be more than $4400.00.  LAYSER was arrested and charged with crimes associated with theft and access device fraud.  LAYSER was arraigned and later released pending a preliminary hearing.
