Between June 30 and July 1, 2021, the NLCRPD received several calls from residents reporting suspicious activity on the Warwick Township rails-to-trails. It was reported that a “tall, thin, adult black male with deadlocks” was seen riding a small silver scooter and approaching children on the rails-to-trails between Pebble Creek and North Oak Street in Lititz Borough. When approached by an adult / parent, the male reportedly fled to avoid contact. He was last seen getting into a silver, four door, SUV style vehicle, suspected to be a Mercedes Benz (or Acura) with New York registration plates ending in 1387, and occupied by an adult female. Similar behavior involving the same suspect(s) and associated vehicle was reported by different persons at different times, all in the same area, within the same date/time frame.
