The NLCRPD is investigating the robbery of an employee of the McDonalds located in the 700 block of Lancaster Road in Penn Township. The 17:08 hour incident began as an employee exited the store and was confronted by a subject brandishing a blunt force weapon (possible club or bat) and a knife.

During the confrontation a deposit bag was dropped by the employee, and the suspect recovered the bag and fled. The suspect was last seen running into a commercial area north east and behind the McDonalds. An area search by NLCRPD patrols supported by a Lititz Borough Police K-9 unit was negative.

The NLCRPD patrols identified several witnesses and collected statements concerning the crime. There were no injuries reported during the commission of the robbery. The loss amount is known to the NLCRPD and is being withheld. The only available known description at this time is depicted as follows:
