The NLCRPD was requested to respond and investigate associated with the reporting of a retail theft. Details of reporting are as follows dispatch from Lancaster County Wide Communications (LCWC) for a theft not in progress at Sheetz, 1205 Lancaster Road. The reporting party provided surveillance footage and information on a theft that occurred on this date.0829 hours: Suspect enters store through rear entrance (located on south side of store). Suspect is described as a white male wearing glasses, blue surgical-style mask, a dark-colored hat with a “D” on it, red hooded sweatshirt with the hood partially over his hat, dark-colored pants, and light-colored shoes.0830 hours: Suspect takes SOLARAY charging cable, $19.99 retail value, with his left hand from merchandise section located near cash register area of store. Suspect conceals items in his sweatshirt pocket as he walks towards coffee section of store. 0831 hours: Suspect fills two 20oz coffees, placing the charging cable back on the coffee section counter briefly before placing it back inside his sweatshirt pocket. 0832 hours: Suspect exits rear entrance of Sheetz into the rear parking lot area. A Sheetz employee was observing the theft occur and followed the suspect as he exited to attempt contact with him and obtain vehicle information. Suspect enters driver's seat of a black-colored SUV, believed to be a Ford Edge. The items stolen include:
