The NLCRPD has recovered a 2021 Honda Civic reported as a stolen vehicle from the City of New York, with an estimated value in excess of $22,000 at the Manheim Auto Auction, located in Penn Township.

This recovery is part of a continuing j joint partnership between the Manheim Auto Auction and the NLCRPD serves to reduce criminal losses to the local business community, insurance providers and the auto industry. The majority of the recovered vehicles were from the states of Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia as well as other states. This recovery effort is part of the aggressive anti-theft initiatives underway within the auto industry.

The vehicle was impounded by the NLCRPD in secure storage pending further determinations on the final disposition of the vehicle.
