NLCRPD was dispatched to contact a subject about damage to her vehicle that occurred on West Sun Hill Road in Penn Township. Victim stated last evening (2/18) her husband and she were driving back to their residence on East Hempfield Township. Victim stated they were travelling west on West Sun Hill Road. Victim said they were near where Power Road intersects with West Sun Hill. Victim indicated that something struck her driver's side window of her black Honda Pilot. Victim said it scared her husband and her. Victim said she does not know what hit the window but indicated whatever hit it did not go all the way through. Victim said the window eventually shattered. Because the object that hit the window did not go all the way through, nothing was observed inside of the vehicle after it was struck. Victim was advised to contact her auto insurance company and make a claim with them. At this point it is undetermined or unknown what struck Victim's window. There is only circumstantial evidence that this was an act of vandalism in which someone may have shot at the vehicle with a bb gun or pellet gun. No damage estimates were obtained as none were available. No further action taken.
