December 16, 2022, @ 8:57 PM NLCRPD received a complaint involving a Protection From Abuse violation (PFA). The victim, a resident of Molly Drive in Clay Township, reported that an Edward ADAMS of Ephrata had been harassing him leading to the issuance of a PFA order. ADAMS reportedly violated the PFA. A follow-up investigation was initiated. Assisted by Ephrata Borough Police, NLCRPD located ADAMS at his home in Ephrata. ADAMS was taken into custody for violating the PFA order. During a search incident to arrest, ADAMS was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine. ADAMS was transported to NLCRPD headquarters and charged with crimes associated with the PFA violation and drug possession. ADAMS was arraigned and remanded to the custody of Lancaster County Prison. A preliminary hearing is pending.
