A Manheim area woman suffered minor injuries after being ejected from a vehicle during an early morning crash following impact with a bridge in Penn Township. The NLCRPD responded to a crash with no reported injuries involving a vehicle that was reportedly stuck on a bridge guard rail on Boyer Run Road and East Mount Hope Road in Penn Township. Arriving NLCRPD officers located a 2017 Ford, Fusion, sedan with no one inside of the vehicle. Due to the extent of damage to the vehicle and the high potential for injury to any occupant, continued attempts to locate the registered owner of the vehicle were made and no one was found at the home address of the registered owner. NLCRPD officers began to attempt to locate the registered owner of the vehicle at a secondary address. The NLCRPD officers were checking this address without contact with the vehicle owner. As the NLCRPD patrol officers returned to their patrol units they found a female lying on the ground that was not present when the officers arrived. The female was barefooted and required medical treatment due to the time lapse of approximately two hours from the time of the crash until the time she was located by police. STEPHANIE BARDACH, age 19, of a Julia Lane, Manheim, PA address was transported to the Hershey medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries. BARDACH is facing multiple charges in connection with the completion of this crash investigation and will be charged via summons.
