Joe was raised in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, where he lived with his parents and two younger brothers. Growing up, He played Ice Hockey and lacrosse. Joe credits his parents with instilling discipline and an excellent work ethic - that helped him achieve his goals. Joe is a 2014 graduate of Upper Darby High School. He played Division III Men's Lacrosse and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2018. After graduating college, his goal was to pursue a career in law enforcement. It was something he was always inspired to do and felt he could make a positive impact within his community.
In 2020, Joe started his law enforcement career as a SEPTA Transit Police Officer. SEPTA provided an opportunity to experience the many challenges faced by Police Officer in today’s society. When he decided to move forward in his career, Joe discovered the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department. After researching the department, He felt that it would be a good fit for him. While going through the recruitment process, Joe stated that he started to appreciate the brotherhood, the support, and culture that NLCRPD embodies. He looks forward to his future with this department and continued growth as a police officer. In his free time, Joe enjoys going to the gym, cooking, listening to music, playing ice hockey, and spending time with his family and friends.
