On Tuesday April 26^th, 2022 NLCPRD officer(s) were dispatched to respond to the intersection of Main Street and New Street in East Petersburg Borough for a vehicle accident. Upon arrival NLCRPD officers observed a Jeep Renegade on its side and a Chrysler 200 with front bumper area damage. It was determined that the driver of the Jeep Renegade attempted to cross over the intersection but did not see the Chrysler 200 and caused the crash. As a result of the crash both vehicles were towed by Wayne’s Towing.  The driver of the Jeep was cited for violation of PA Vehicle Code 3323-B Stop Sign & Yield Sign.
