February 17, 2023: Lt. Josh Kilgore, Cpl. Ryan Sweigart, and Cpl. Alex Wildberger accepted the “FBI-LEEDA Agency Trilogy Award” on behalf of the NLCRPD. The award is presented to a law enforcement agency whose command staff has successfully completed a three-part training series dedicated to professionalism and leadership in law enforcement.
The trilogy series, hosted by the FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (FBI-LEEDA), includes three one-week classes comprised of Supervisory, Command, and Executive Leadership courses of study. The training, as well as the core values of the organization, includes promoting continuous learning, forging enduring relationships and developing partnerships, enhancing leadership capabilities and concepts, and instilling the values of diversity within the law enforcement profession.
NLCRPD staff members who completed the trilogy series include Cpl. Tony Smith, Cpl. Ryan Sweigart, Sgt. Dave Burdis, Sgt. Curt Ochs, Sgt. Adam Webber, and Lt. Josh Kilgore. The NLCRPD plans to continue its relationship with FBI-LEEDA as a foundational training forum for future leaders. Cpl. Alex Wildberger and Cpl. Alex Good has each completed the first of the three-part series and will continue the courses of study in 2023.
