NLCRPD COVID 19 OPERATIONAL PERIOD UPDATE
COVID 19 – NLCRPD AGENCY RESPONSE UPDATE
The NLCRPD has received reports from the public concerning businesses that are remaining open after the issuance of the Executive Order from the Office of the Governor. A total of seventeen reports are related to the COVID-19 scenario. Of this total, thirteen reports have been received and investigated by the NLCRPD Patrol Services group pursuant to reports filed by a member of the public.
Investigations determined that all of the businesses were within the scope of the executive order or DCED guidance, or had followed the guidance requirements for application, consideration, and issuance of a waiver to conduct business. As such no warnings or sanctions were issued or necessary. In many cases the response was limited to telephonic verification of the business status or an electronic query of the status search of the business within the order.
The NLCRPD has also created a tracking system and classification matrix for tracking of calls for service (CFS) in the agency records management system (RMS) to allow the NLCRPD to measure data, trends, and outcomes related to the COVID 19 operational period.
