The Lancaster County Board of Commissioners hosted a September 11th remembrance event on Friday, September 10, 2021. The event took place at the Lancaster County Public Safety Center, 101 Champ Blvd. Manheim PA, 17545.Lancaster County resident Greg Noll was the keynote guest speaker. Mr. Noll was part of the emergency response efforts on September 11, 2001, at the World Trade Center as a team member of Pennsylvania Task Force 1, one of the 28 FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Teams.
Additionally, the Lancaster County Commissioners recognized and remembered the 52 Lancaster County Emergency First Responders who have died in the line of duty. Cadets from the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center’s Protective services program also participated in the event.
The NLCRPD had the pleasure of attendance at this event and solemn time of remembrance of those who were murdered by the enemies of our way of life and the freedoms we all enjoy as Americans.
