On December 21, 2021, at 08:22 AM NLCRPD, along with Fire Department Resources, was dispatched to the Urgent Care Facility at Peters Road for the report of a gas leak. Several people inside reported the smell of gas and indicated they may be experiencing symptoms related to exposure.  Nearly 100 people were evacuated from the facility while Fire Department Personnel and UGI investigated the source.  Preliminarily, it is believed that a faulty heating unit, located on the roof of the facility, was the source of the problem reported.  Maintenance to correct the issue is expected to be completed in a timely fashion and the disruption resolved within the hour.
