NLCRPD contacted the reporting party by phone. The reporting party said that he gave out some information about himself online and got “doxed” (private information about himself got posted online by an unknown female). This occurred on 3/10 and 3/14. Reporting party said that he was worried because he had heard that when this happens to some people they get “swatted” and he did not want that to happen to him so he wanted to report it. NLCRPD advised the reporting party that police report would be filed and also advised him to contact his bank because he is now susceptible to identity theft.
