NLCRPD was dispatched to contact a Reporting party from an address on the Fruitville Pike in Penn Township. Reporting partytold county dispatch that he needed to report that he received a 1099 tax form for unemployment compensation that he did not apply for. Reporting party stated he received the 1099 tax form for unemployment compensation for around $23,000 dollars.

Reporting party confirmed he never applied for any type of unemployment compensation. He indicated the form he received has the last four digits of his social security number but not his middle initial. It is unknown at this time if this was a fraudulent claim or a clerical or entry error on the PA unemployment end with putting it under the wrong person. Reporting party has already contacted someone with PA unemployment, and they requested that Reporting party make report to local police and obtain a report number. NLCRPD patrol provided Reporting party with the incident/report number and advised him he can call back if further assistance is needed.
