The reporting party stated that on 12/11/22 her husband received a phone call from her credit Union. It was later discovered that the person calling was not actually an employee, but someone impersonating an employee. The unknown male called and informed them that there was a $400.00 transaction on their account and wanted to verify it was an authorized transaction. The reporting party stated that this was not an authorized transaction, and they informed the unknown male. He reporting party stated that on this same day, she noticed multiple transactions from the account totaling $17,000.00 that she did not authorize. The reporting party stated that the money was withdrawn, and it was also discovered that this same individual attempted to obtain a private loan through the Credit Union for $15,000.00
