Sunday, November 15, 2020 at approximately 15:00 hours, NLCRPD was dispatched to the 1500 block of Clay Rd for a building fire. Upon arrival NLCRPD patrols observed smoke coming from the front of the home. The NLCRPD patrol officer made sure all occupants were out and conducted a sweep to confirm. The homeowner, believed the fire was coming from inside the walls, an electric fire. Multiple fire departments responded and had the smoke under control in a short period of time. Homeowner stated that PP&L was out at his house last night (11/14/20) working on the power lines. He was unsure if it was related to the current fire.
