November 18, 2022, @ 0053 AM NLCRPD Officers located an occupied vehicle near the Dollar Tree Store during a patrol check.  Officers observed an adult male, later identified as Lucas STROTHER of Manheim, sleeping inside the vehicle. Officers also observed what appeared to be an AR15-style rifle and drug paraphernalia, in plain view, in the back seat area.  STROTHER was awoken and was cooperative with officers.  He reported that he was employed in the area and sleeping in his vehicle prior to his shift. On further investigation, the AR15 rifle was found to be a pellet gun, an AR15 replica. Officers identified and recovered drug-related paraphernalia from the vehicle.  STROTHER was cited and later released on scene.
