On February 12th, 2023 at 0313 hours, NLCRPD received a call for an assault not in progress at the 700 block of 727 Furnace Hills Pk. Staff from Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon reported that there was patient in the emergency room who is an assault victim. The adult male victim suffered a serious bite wound to the upper outer ear lobe and needed immediate attention to reattach it back in place, with the victim was being transferred to Hershey Medical Center for plastic surgeons to perform the ear reattachment. This is a domestic violence related crime that began during a commute to Lebanon from the City of Lancaster, with the attack and assault taking place at a venue in the 700 block of the Furnace Hills Pike in Warwick Township. After the attack the victim was dropped off at the Good Samaritan Hospital Emergency Room. The NLCRPD is continuing the investigation and further details will be released as warranted.
