NLCRPD received a call from LCWC for a disturbance that just occurred at Turkey Hill, 600 N Oak St. LCWC advised a customer became irate over the store requiring customers wear a mask. Reporting party had contact with the unidentified customer a white male, approximately forties, wearing an orange shirt and black shorts, who came into the store without wearing a mask. Reporting party stated the customer was advised that the store policy requires a mask for entrance/service and stated the customer became upset, claimed he had a medical condition, stated it was a “HIPPA” violation and he would be contacting his lawyers. Reporting party stated they offered to make reasonable accommodations and gather the customers retail items for him and handle the transaction by bringing his items to him in the parking lot, but he refused. No further action.
