During this time of attention being focused towards the COVID 19 Pandemic – please consider the following information. The NLCRPD has observed a decrease of over 84.48% since January of 2020 in crashes investigated by the department.

Nothing within the data suggests the drivers have suddenly found increased driving skills or the ability to develop and practice obedience to posted speed limits, roadway signage, or signalization. The decrease is anecdotally attributed to decreased traffic flow.
