On Friday, May 27, 2022, @ 04:24 AM NLCRPD Officers responded to a domestic in progress involving 35YOA resident Justin ECKMAN.  ECKMAN had been involved in a physical altercation with his father. As the incident escalated, ECKMAN reportedly struck his father with a baseball bat causing significant injury. ECKMAN was taken into custody by police without further incident. During the arrest ECKMAN was found to be in possession of suspected heroin and drug-related paraphernalia. ECKMAN was transported to NLCRPD headquarters and processed on charges associated with aggravated assault and possession of a controlled substance.
