We are deeply saddened by the loss of Officer Andrew Duarte, who died after heroically protecting innocent lives during a tragic incident at UPMC Memorial Hospital.

We send our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of this brave and selfless man. Officer Duarte dedicated his life to serving and protecting his community, and we are grateful for his bravery and his sacrifice. Officer Duarte will never be forgotten.
