The victim in last night’s shooting in Strasburg Borough has been identified as 27 year-old Mitchell Bewley.  Danielle Bewley, the victim’s recently estranged wife, was charged Sunday evening with one count of Homicide and Carrying a Firearm Without a License.  Danielle Bewley remains in the hospital at this time and has not yet been arraigned.  She is presumed innocent.

Detectives with the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office and officers with Strasburg Borough Police Department continue to investigate.  It is unknown at this time what precipitated the shooting on Sunday evening.  Bewley was taken into custody by Pennsylvania State Police at her home in Quarryville, Lancaster County.
