January 12, 2021, then Sergeant, Nick Ferretti was sworn-in as the new Strasburg Borough Chief of Police. Chief Ferretti has been a Police Officer with the Strasburg Borough Police Department since 1987 and was previously promoted to Sergeant in 2018.
The Strasburg Borough Police Department has been posting about National Blood Donor Month and the 2021 Bleed Blue Campaign. Why have we been concentrating on this so much? Here are five of the biggest reasons giving blood is so important.
1. About 36,000 units of red blood cells and 7,000 units of platelets are needed EVERY SINGLE DAY in the U.S.
