The Strasburg Borough Police Department is proud to announce its participation in the Pink Patch Project’s 2021 campaign!
Originating with the Los Angeles County Police Chief’s Association in 2013, the Pink Patch Project is an innovative public awareness campaign designed to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer and to support breast cancer research organizations combating this devastating disease.
Today, the Pink Patch Project has expanded to over 600 partner agencies throughout the world, including Police Departments, Sheriff’s Offices, Fire Departments and EMS agencies. These agencies have partnered together to combat breast cancer by emphasizing the importance of early detection and to raise funds for breast cancer research and treatment.
To this end, during the month of October the Strasburg Borough Police Department will be offering a special commemorative “pink” version of our shoulder patch for sale to raise money in support of the PA Breast Cancer Coalition.
However, you can get your hands on one of these special commemorative patches this Saturday, August 28th from 3:00pm to 9:30pm at the Strasburg Pizza 10th Anniversary event, located at 520 Historic Dr. in Strasburg!
Patches are $10.00 each and we will also be accepting monetary donations for the PA Breast Cancer Coalition.
Come visit us at our booth, meet one of our officers and help make a difference in the fight against Breast Cancer!
See you there!
