The challenge has been issued! Starting Friday, November 6, members of the Strasburg Borough Police Department, West Lampeter Township Police Department, and Southern Regional Police Department will engage in a friendly challenge. Each agency has agreed to collect NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS to be donated to a charity of the Department’s choice. The Department that donates the most items ‘wins’ the challenge and will have bragging rights. The contest ends on December 21. Food collected by Strasburg Borough Police will be donated to the Lancaster County Council of Churches' Food Hub, which serves southern Lancaster County. Anyone interested in donating to this great cause on behalf of the Strasburg Borough Police can drop off their non-perishable food items in designated donation bins located at any one of the following locations:

Strasburg Borough Office (145 Precision Ave.)

Sauder Motors (226 N. Decatur St.)

Strasburg Rail Road (Rte. 741 East)
