On Wednesday February 26, 2020 at approximately 0849 hrs the Ephrata Police Department responded to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of S State St and Old Mill Rd in Ephrata Borough.  A GMC suv driven by Jay Kreiner of Ephrata proceeded from a stop sign without clearance and was struck by a Nissan Sentra driven by Christopher Wise, also of Ephrata.  Wise was travelling south bound on S State St when he struck Kreiner.  The drivers were the sole occupants of the vehicles and did not report injury.  Wise's vehicle was towed from the scene.
