On 8/25/15 at 1600 hrs. Ephrata Police responded to a vehicle accident on Route 322 at Route 222.  A tractor trailer, driven by James Hutton, age 43, of Maryland,  was driving off the RT 222 South bound ramp and turning left to go East on RT 322.  Witnesses reported a white Toyota, driven by Richard Klingaman, age 85, of Denver, drove on the left shoulder of the ramp and into the truck as it turned left.  The two occupants of the Toyota were taken to a hospital for non life threatening injuries.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.  The investigation continues.  Police and EMS were assisted by Akron and Pioneer Fire Departments.
