On September 15, 2015 at 9:39 a.m., graffiti of a threatening nature was found in a restroom at Ephrata High School, 803 Oak Boulevard, Ephrata.
School District Administration immediately notified the Ephrata Police Department and conducted a cooperative investigation. Staff determined that there was not an immediate threat to students and staff, and the school day functioned as normal.
Ephrata School District Administration and Ephrata Police identified three student suspects. Criminal charges against the students are forthcoming. All three students have been excluded from the school pending school sanctions.
The threatening Graffiti was confirmed to be a prank and part of a dare among the three students.
