Ephrata Police received a report of a Peacock being taken from a vehicle while the owner of the bird was at the Green Dragon Farmer's Market in the 900 Block of North State Street on Friday 8-21-15. 

Victim who is from Nesquehoning, PA, reported he was at the farmer's market attending the live animal auction when he was approached by a male who was interested in his Peacock he had in his vehicle.   The victim reported after he showed the peacock he went back to the auction but the male suspect did not.   The victim returned to his vehicle when he observed a silver vehicle with the suspect driving from the farmers market and he noticed his peacock was missing.     Theft occurred at approximately 2145hrs and the victim provided a photograph of the stolen Peacock. 

The peacock was valued at: $50.
