Ephrata Police on 5-22-21 arrested two females, Elizabeth Fertko F/56 of Leola, PA and Tina Knisely F/41 of Narvon, PA for misdemeanor retail theft and conspiracy following an incident at the Ephrata Walmart.  

Ephrata Police were called at approximately 4:30pm to the Ephrata Walmart by Loss Prevention for two females who reportedly did not purchase various items and left the store.  Ephrata Police found Elizabeth Fertko and Tina Knisely allegedly failed to purchase $390.00 worth of items as they checked out at the Walmart.  Fertko and Knisely were both arrested for misdemeanor Retail Theft and Criminal Conspiracy.  Both were released and will be sent criminal summons charging each with misdemeanor Retail Theft and Criminal Conspiracy.   Fertko and Knisely are presumed innocent.
