Ephrata Police are investigating a quick-change scam that occurred on Monday October 19, 2015 at 5:33 p.m at Walmart, 890 East Main Street, Ephrata Township. A customer, who acted as if she could not speak English, made a purchase and then requested multiple different change transactions by pointing to the bills she wanted in exchange for her bills. While the clerk was distracted, the customer reached in the cash drawer and took money. The suspect, described as a white female, in her 40's, medium build, blonde hair, French accent, left the store in an SUV.
