Ephrata Police have charged Travis W. Mengel, 24, of Ephrata, with the February 8, 2018, burglary of Green Dragon Farmers Market, 955 North State Street, Ephrata Township.  Police allege that Mengel and his co-conspirator forcibly entered buildings, stole a safe and cash from cash registers, and caused over $1,600 in property damage.  Ephrata Police received a tip that identified Mengel as a suspect.  Mengel admitted his involvement during an interview with detectives.
