Ephrata Police were called at 1202am on 1-1-22 to the area of Red Fox Ct and Misty Meadow Dr. for a vehicle accident involving two vehicles. 

Ephrata Police arrived to find a small black Volkswagen sedan driven by 17hrs old Ephrata male struck a parked vehicle owned by a couple from Glenmoore, PA who were visiting  a nearby residence for the new year celebration.   17yr old male was taken to Wellspan Ephrata Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.  Investigation into the accident continues and is pending toxicology results.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene and Ephrata Police were assisted on scene by Adamstown Fire Department and Fire Police.
