Ephrata Police were called to the 1000 Block of Mount Airy Road, Schoeneck in West Cocalico Township for a head on crash involving an SUV and small sedan.  

Investigation into the crash determined a small black Volkswagon driven by a 17yr old male from ClayTownship was traveling west on Mount Airy Rod and failed to properly negotiate a curve in the roadway and collided head-on into an SUV driven east bound by Chirsty Miller 45/F of Klienfeltersville Rd, Stevens, PA    Both drivers sustained injuries and were checked on scene by Reinholds ambulance and released at scene.    Both vehicles were towed from the scene.  Schoeneck Fire Company and Fire Police assisted Ephrata Police

17yr old male will be cited for Failure to maintain his lane of travel.
