Once again, the National Night Out celebration was a HUGE success last night. The officers and staff from the Elizabethtown Police Department, along with our friends at Northwest Regional Police Department, Northwest EMS, Elizabethtown Fire Company and several other area fire companies and service agencies, got to meet and interact with many (thousands?) of our area residents. Officer Lachance, our Community Engagement Officer, had a great time showing the kids the inside of the police car and letting the soon-to-be officers operate the lights and sirens. Police Secretaries Jill R. and Lynn M. and Officer Riehl and Officer Goshen were there with us to also meet and interact with all of our friends in the community, the chief even got in on the act and got a great hand stamp from one of our young friends and got to meet a couple of Tusken Raiders. The winner of the baseball ticket raffle will be announced as soon as they are notified.
(*NOTE* - all pictures shared with parental permission, except for the Tusken Raiders - the chief couldn't understand what they were saying in their language...)
