A Narvon woman was recently sentenced in Lancaster County Court after being convicted in November of her fifth DUI offense.
Robin Endy, 63, was sentenced by Lancaster County Judge David Ashworth on February 3 to 2-5 years in Lancaster County Prison after being found guilty of DUI – General Impairment, DUI - .10% to .159%, Driving Under Suspension, DUI Related While DUI, and summary registration offenses.
On February 12, 2021, East Cocalico Township Police was on routine patrol on North Reading Road. Officers ran a Gray Nissan SUV’s registration and found it was expired.
Officers attempted to pull over the vehicle, which ignored the emergency lights and sirens and pulled into a Phillips 66 gas station. Endy pulled up on the wrong side of her gas hatch and officers asked that she return to her vehicle, immediately smelling a strong odor of alcohol on Endy’s breath and person.
Officers then looked up Endy’s license which showed it was suspended due to previous DUIs.
As officers completed field sobriety tests, Endy stated she was “very drunk.” Blood test results showed she had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .163%.
Assistant District Attorney Caitlin Blazier prosecuted the case.
East Cocalico Township Police Officer Logan High filed charges.
