Tomorrow is Recovery Day, a day to promote a celebration of healing and normalize addiction recovery as a healthy and contributing factor toward a strong community. Recovery is more sustainable in a welcoming and supportive environment.
The Lancaster County Recovery Alliance will be holding an event Saturday, September 11 at Buchanan Park. Their mission is to encourage a recovering lifestyle within the community at large for those affected by addiction through Awareness, Advocacy and Access.
The day will be filled with activities, vendors, games and more starting at 9:30 a.m. with a 5K. Lunch provided by Hess's BBQ and performances by Half Past Dead and Octavia Blues Band highlight the day.
