A Manheim man is charged with dealing fentanyl and cocaine as result of a recent arrest in West Earl Township.
The Lancaster County Drug Task Force stopped Nathaniel Perez-McCain’s Mazda Aug. 13 on Oregon Pike (Route 272), just south of Akron, and found 220 bags of fentanyl and 3.5 grams of crack cocaine in the vehicle.
The Task Force charged Perez-McCain with possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and cocaine and possession of paraphernalia.
McCain, 29, also is charged for sales of cocaine and fentanyl he made in July while under police surveillance.
McCain was recently arraigned on two dockets and bail was set at $500,000.
McCain also is being held regarding a state parole matter.
During the Aug. 13 vehicle stop, detectives also found $2,185 cash, a digital scale and sandwich bags (for packaging drugs).
The seized fentanyl had an estimated street value of $2,200 and the crack cocaine, about $200.
McCain is presumed innocent.
